“Well, what do I do? - I think.
I have studied the three main scales of design:
Urbanism, Architecture and Product.
I have worked in its several different areas:
Development, Management, Analysis, Research.
I have conceived products in several fields:
Furniture, Cities, Smart cities, Interaction, Media, Landscape, Environmental.
Well, in all of these fields, basically, my main function was to collect data in order to transform it into solutions, using the international language: drawing.
Therefore, to summarize what I do, I simply say:
- I draw solutions.
PROJECT ANALYST I

Activities/Responsibilities:
Revision of outsourced projects, achieving reductions from 30-50% on the project costs, without sacrificing quality and aesthetics;
Elaboration of environmental and landscape projects, reducing the expenses with outsourced projects;
Analysis and interpretation of the Legislation for project development and building approval, managing to accelerate the project approval;
“This experience, although very rich, had to be brief in favor of to my Master’s degree in Italy.
Due to my previous experience with project revision and cost structures, my manager put me in charge of reviewing the landscape projects. With the revisions, we manage to reduce severally the project costs without quality and aesthetics sacrifices.
Also, due to my previous experience in research and data analysis, they gave me the responsibility of making the projects match the legislation demands for the area, accelerating the approval process.
I still have a great relationship with my supervisor, manager and colleagues, even though the experience had to be short.”

Activities/Responsibilities:
Responsible for the company’s seating portfolio, managing the performance of each product family: margin, volume, prices and average applied discounts;
In charge of the R&D activities: detection of market needs, desires and demands in order to develop new portfolio opportunities;
Responsible for the product development of the office chairs: from the conception to the launching;
Coordinating a team of 3 professionals to improve the sales demos process;
Key Accomplishments:
Development of new method for product forecasting;
Development of new method for product life cycle;
Development of a new process for the Samples Sales which resulted in 80% decrease of the delays and the strict control of the returning process;
“After graduation, against 2,500 candidates, I was fortunate to be selected to undergo a trainee program at Giroflexforma (at the time, the major office furniture company of Latin America, branch of the Swiss company Stoll).
At the first months, I spent time in each area of the company, learning from production to sales. After one year, my director put me in charge of the seating portfolio, along with my engineer partner Denis Roveri, from whom I have learned a lot about technical structure and the costs of developing a project.
Along with Denis, we have developed several projects with our international partners: Okamura (Japan); Stoll (Switzerland); Orangebox (England); Irwin (USA) and others."

“During my second year at University, I joined the University’s Research Group. Mentored by professor Ph.D. Angelica Alvim (Brazilian reference in the field), We have developed two projects regarding irregular occupations in watersheds areas in Brazil.
One of the projects was published in the “VII Jornada de Iniciação Científica” and elected to be presented at the 64th Annual Reunion of the Brazilian Society for the Science Progress. The other project was presented as my final thesis and was granted with the highest score.”
