MError
MError | interaction design

MERROR is a proposal of stepping out from the automatic mode that we are living in, by looking into our own reflections and asking ourselves: “are we there?”.
As the user knocks on the MERROR and calls himself, the hidden cameras will wake and the user’s reflection will become an AI that can interact, allowing the user to see and speak with his inner-self. It holds body temperature sensors that can read the users emotions, translating them into background colorful environments.
The smart mirror can also learn the user’s behavior and activities, through an app that authorizes the deepness of the access to the user’s PC and mobile usage.
It can also understand what might be in the user’s subconscious by understanding what the user has been seeing. From that, MERROR can hide tiny images on its curves, that grows into the background vas the user approaches to see them better. The images change according to the conversation, as they try to guide the user through a – literally – self-reflection.

Piccolè
Piccolè| Light Design

This project was born in the light of a curious observation:
“many houses in Milan don’t have a ceiling lamp installation spot”.
So, what if, in order to have a ceiling lamp, it wasn’t necessary to call an electrician?
Guided by the great Italian designers Dante Donegani and Giovanni Lauda, along with my two colleagues, the designers Nici Ponce and Luis Huerta, we have developed an easy-to-install ceiling lamp, that could be placed in any room for diffuse light, due to its pressure system.
It fits discreetly in any space and allows the attachment of several accessories to transform the light.

Solid
Alchimia
Solid Alchimia| Furniture Design

This kitchen furniture collection was conceived to express the new languages of the italian
design.
Guided by the Italian designer Stefano Caggiano, along with other two colleagues - Valeria Venditti and Luis Huerta - we have designed three pieces that, yet very honest in their conexions and structure, managed to maintain their elegance by the use of the wood and marble aesthetics.

64 COLORS
64 COLORS| Furniture Design

While I was working at Giroflexforma, the most
challenging project I was requested to develop was a new family of chairs, but without investments.
The solution was to create a new product from an already known one, just by changing its structure color.
It may seem very simple – and it really is – but it was
exactly what we need: a simple, inexpensive, but effective idea!
The success was instantaneous! The sales were
increased by 50% in the first month and 200% in the second.

SOLLIEVA
SOLLIEVA| Furniture Design

We were requested by WOODSERVICES – a traditional wood company from Abruzzo – to translate the essence of their region into pieces of furniture.
As we were travelling to present our ideas, I looked out at the window and got amazed by the landscape. So, after talking to my partners Mayssa Kaddoum and Nadia di Blasio, we decided to forget everything we had prepared in favor of a new idea: the sollieva.
We presented the sketches of a center table, composed by wood slices and joined by resine, inspired by the mountains of Abruzzo.
The sketches made the company smile.
And made us smile too.
EISNTINO
EINSTINO| Toys Design

“INSANITY: doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results”.
A.Einstein
Einstino is a simple, low-cost and interactive toy conceived to teach kids about mathematical patterns.
The patterns change following a logical order.
It is necessary attention to discover them.
As the kid press the button, the colors light up according to the pattern. The same input
creates several different outputs.
Therefore, in a way, it defies Einstein’s
assumption.
Since we employ Arduino to program it, there comes the name: EINSTEIN + ARDUINO = ARDUINO.

3D BIKE
3D BIKE| Marketing Design

This project was developed within one day.
The goal was to create a bicycle for kids that could be built by 3D-print pieces of recycled plastic. It should also fit a box of 60x60cm.
Much more than the shape itself, I’ve focused on the business model.
The proposal was to market it to soft drinks companies, as a way of reducing the plastic bottles waste. The result would not only reduce the costs with waste, but also enhance the image of the brand with its consumers and increase its profits.
It is currently being developed by ten2bike group.
